Identification of Considerations and Factors in Promoting the Defense Acquisition System of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract

This research represents the proposed policies and strategies for enhancing the defense procurement system of the Islamic Republic of Iran. For this purpose, the history and evolutionary process of the defense acquisition system of some countries are described and the results of this evolutionary process in combination with the requirements of the upstream documents as a hypothesis and in the form of a questionnaire using semi-structured interviewing techniques and surveys, the views of the experts of the defense sector of the country as indigenous considerations It has been included. The answer options in the questionnaire are classified according to the Likert spectrum in five categories. In the pre-test process, Lavoshe method was used to calculate the content validity index, using Waltz and Bassel's method for assessing the content validity index. Cronbach's alpha method was used to determine the reliability of the questionnaire and to test the hypotheses of the research, t-test was used. The result of the analysis indicates that, apart from the development of defense systems and some legal considerations that are tailored to the native conditions of each country, the redefinition and deployment of a defense acquisition system in a new or current structure and the use of indigenous parts of the policies and strategies for the acquisition of defense systems These countries are effective in meeting the defense and security needs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
