Abstract

The term of "maximization of position" refers to a set of tools or policies through which states strive to achieve the highest position in the international system. As a powerful actor, China has mobilized a collection sources of power in recent decades to promote its position in the international system. The main focus of this article is on how the security and military components can play a role in the realization of this policy; The variables that include ranges from Innovation in the field of militarism to security- oriented goals at the regional level and competing with the US. The main question of this study is: In the context of China's approach based on the maximization of position, how are the security-military components role-playing? The answer lies in the assumption that: military-security factors, namely the evolution of the People's Liberation Army structure, the upgrading of the military and military technology, the security orientation of the Shanghai Organization, and the security confrontation with the United States, had a decisive impact on the China's policy of maximization of the global position. This research will investigate the research hypothesis in the form of analytical-descriptive method.
