The increasing influence of the armed forces on political decision-making, whether domestic politics or foreign relations, has prompted many political sociologists to always study the issue of the position of the military in politics. This is the issue in contemporary Iran with the establishment of an absolute military government after the coup d'état of March 1299. It led to many theoretical reflections. A form of government that emerged by combining the two conflicting aspects of absolute government with modernization by the military and foreign intervention How did the military create this harmony? The purpose of this article is The research method in this article is to use the models of political sociology based on the study of the relations of social forces and the power structure based on the three-dimensional model of the government, military and civil institutions. The results of the research show that the motivation of the military to develop and increase the authority of the armed forces created the need for institutional modernization, and the ground for expanding the influence of the military in politics on the one hand and the unity of the absolute government and the modernization movement on the other hand was provided, although the internal conflict of the authoritarian system with the modernization movement led to the challenge of political legitimacy. The feature of this article is the investigation of the relations between the government, the military and the people under the influence of the intervening factors of modernization and foreign influence and interference.
