Resistance and standing up to the tyranny from oppressors is a Koranic and religious matter. God deems resistance against oppression as a duty, ordering his servants not to submit to injustices, and stand up to oppression with full force.
The literature on resistance represents a conflict between two ways of thinking, one of which is based on injustice and domination, and the other on the opposite front that tries to administer justice. The Holy Quran deems defending the oppressed as a religious duty and denouncing submission to oppression. The Almighty God considers the Muslims dignity, the Faithful's authority and exiting from passivity as well as defeating and alienating the dissidents as resulting from resistance against the corrupt. According to the Quranic view, the main objective of resistance is to create balance and equilibrium in the society. Religious insight requires resistance against those seeking domination, holding the individuals of the society as accountable against the oppressors. This research, which has been carried out on the basis of the religious teachings and the statements made by the religious authorities, addresses the need to resist, and the accomplishments, achievements, examples and results of resistance.
